Here is a simple and effective Meditation technique - the Breath is the focus
The breath can be used as a focus for the mind. When you feel frazzled, stop and take a few long slow deep breaths. Sense the breath in your abdominal area. After a minute or two you’ll feel more centered, calmer and able to return to whatever you are doing with a refreshed attitude. A simple Breathing Meditation activates the parasympathetic nervous system, calming hormones like oxytocin release and counter-balance stress related hormones.
